Location
The next Grand Lodge Meeting for the State of Alabama will be on June 20th, 2020. The convention will take place at 925 County Road 216, Florence, Alabama 35633 where it was held for the last two years. Anyone interested in attending can meet Local Lodge Brothers at the Mongolian Grill at 121 Cox Creek Road, Florence, Alabama at 7:30 AM and follow the Brothers to the meeting and fabulous lunch.
Schedule
Registration will begin at 8 AM with the meeting starting at 9 AM. The general assembly generally ends by 3 PM. The fee for the registration and meal is estimated to be $25 and is subject to change. The final cost and information will be forthcoming as the meeting draws closer.
Representatives
A Supreme Lodge representative will be present to discuss Supreme programs and legislation. They are also a great resource on programs that have worked in other grand domains. The subordinate lodges in the state each send two or more member representatives.
Recruitment
We invite those of you interested in becoming members or starting new lodges to attend this meeting. Prospective members will be paired with existing lodges or assisted in the creation of a new lodge. We expect a large turnout based on initial interest. The meeting will be a great time of fellowship to make new contacts and friends within the Alabama Lodge. We have much skill and experience to share about helping our communities.
Please take the energy and fellowship back to your local lodges and make a difference. You volunteerism reflects the Pythian values to the community and prospective members. Parts of the meeting will only be open to current Brothers.
